Have you ever found yourself falling into a pattern of focusing on something, somebody, or some expectation? For some reason this week, my focus has been on all of the possible opportunities individuals have had to be kind.

Nothing brings families together like the holidays, weddings, and funerals. Interestingly enough, we are returning from TN, having experienced from each category in this one trip.

Pastor’s Corner:

“If I could have only a little more, then I would be content in life.” True or false? In Andy Stanley’s book How to Be Rich, is a Gallup poll attempting to define who was “rich” and discovered the following. People who earned $30,000 defined the rich as those earning $60,000.

Pastor’s Corner:

It’s one thing to live in a physical, temporal world, quite another to live in a spiritual and eternal one. According to Oxford Languages, “spiritual” is defined as “relating to or affecting the human spirit or soul.” This leads us to Philippians chapter 3, The Spiritual Mind In Jesus Christ.

Pastor’s Corner:

Experiencing an eternal never dying joy is more needed than temporary happiness, which requires a Jesus-like mindset that is spelled out in Philippians chapter 2. How and what we think determines whether or not we experience the never dying joy that Paul had, even while in prison for the gospel.

While shopping last night, I walked through the produce section and noticed that blueberries were reduced for quick sale. They weren’t even shriveled up or speckled with mold, as expected. They looked perfectly plump and fresh.
