August 9, 2001, is a special date in the memories of Dr. Joanne Brown and Craig Sandlin. That is the day all the hard work and frustration and endless reams of paper and gallons of carefully spilled ink coalesced into the opening of their new business, Great Plains Family Dentistry, located at the corner of Third Street and Broadway.
