Selkirk has been the home of the Wichita County Historical Society’s historic depot for years. It was kept company by the old Santa Fe Railroad hand-dug well and the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe caboose.
Last year, after the caboose was moved to its new location behind the Museum of the Great Plains, plans were implemented to bring the old depot to town also.
