The WCHS Lady Indians basketball team earned the 2A Sub-State Championship with a 46-35 victory over the Oakley Plainsmen. The triumph proved once again that the team's season-long success was no fluke.
The team will enter the State Championship tournament with a 19-4 record. Their only losses this season came at the hands of St. Francis (twice), Lakin, and Wallace County.
