Leoti Volunteer Fire Department personnel were called to a field fire approximately 5 miles north and 1/2 mile west of town around 4 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, June 2.
The cause of the blaze was unknown at press time, but one person who was reported to have been working in the field was transported to Wichita County Health Center with suspected smoke inhalation.
