On Thursday, June 17, sled dog racer Karen Land gave a presentation about the sport at the Community Building. The show was sponsored by the Wichita County Library’s Summer Reading Program and funded by a generous donation from the Community Thrift Shoppe. Land spoke for at least an hour to a crowd of about 45 to 55 adults and children, after which she held a question-and-answer session.
