Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day, a federal holiday set aside to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate price in the defense of our Nation. Originally a remembrance of Civil War soldiers, the holiday has expanded to include the deceased veterans of all of America's wars. The VFW Auxiliary will place flags on veterans' graves this week.
