The 2024 Wichita County Spelling Bee was held Friday, February 2, in the WCHS auditorium. Twenty-four students partook in the annual event, which proved to be fun and entertaining for the audience, as well as challenging for participants.
Zim Clark, an 8th grader at WCES, secured his win by correctly spelling the word 'wisdom.' Jenna Koehn, 6th grade, took second place.
