Lady Indians Volleyball on the Road to Victory

The Wichita County Lady Indians have started their season last week facing off against Western Plains, Dighton, and Haxtun. The Indians started off with a loss to Dighton with scores of 8-25 and 25-27. They turned around and won to Western Plains 26-24 and 25-13.

The boys regional wrestling tournament was held in several locations over the weekend. The WCJSHS Indians competed at Norton, the westernmost of four Class 3-2-1A sites.The Indians wrestlers represented the community and school well.

Wyatt Gardner is making his hometown proud. The Leoti sophomore dominated the 141-pound bracket at the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) Wrestling Tournament this past weekend, earning a spot in the NAIA National Championships.
