In July 2025, the Leoti Volunteer Fire Department underwent a required recertification of its air pack equipment, a process that ensures the safety and reliability of the gear firefighters depend on in emergency situations.

Meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. and are available to all. Guests of any age welcome. Meals for those 60 years of age or older are $3.50 and under 60 are $7.50. Lunches need to be ordered one day in advance. Delivery is available for home bound residents.
