Wichita County Health Center is now in the GREEN Zone!!
What does this mean? Monthly Testing for Staff!!
Also tomorrow (Thursday 02/04/2021) most of our residents will receive their 2nd dose of COVID-19 Vaccine. Two weeks post-vaccine we will look at the KDHE Nursing Home Metrics, the County Rate, and make a decision whether or not to PHASE OUT!
What does PHASE OUT mean? I am still looking into what all this can entail, but the good news is that MOST of the restrictions we have in place can be lifted, which is so exciting for our residents, patients and staff. I will begin the planning process for PHASE OUT so if and when this happens, we can move right into it hopefully by March 1st, 2021.
I will have more information regarding this process by the end of next week. Thank you for your patience, and understanding during this very trying time for all of us!
