Alyce Kaye Woodbury, 83, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at her residence.
She was born May 29, 1937, in Aurora, Illinois, to her parents, Francis Thornton and Florence Maranda Thornton. She married the love of her life, Ted Calvin Woodbury, on March 23, 1974, in Topeka, Kansas, and they have shared in over 46 wonderful years together, creating lifelong memories.
Kaye is survived by her loving husband, Ted Woodbury, of the home; three children, Lisa Kaye Jones and her husband Steven of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Ted C. Woodbury, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Jane Larson of Michigan; two grandsons, Jeremy and Brandon Jones of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a brother, Herb Thornton of Sioux City, Iowa; five cousins, Marty Maranda and her spouse Irene, Ken Maranda, Eddie Maranda, Bob Maranda, and Barbara Lesner; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Thornton and Florence Ness.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Grace Freewill Baptist Church, 12323 S. 145th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74011.
