Leoti, Kansas—Doris May Keeton, age 82, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the St. Francis hospital in Wichita, Kansas. Doris was born on December 13, 1938, in Knox County, Missouri, to Leslie and Thelma Elder Hutton. Doris was a homemaker. She was a resident of Leoti, Kansas, since moving from Ness City, Kansas, in 1985.
Doris was a member of the Lydia United Methodist Church in Lydia, Kansas.
On June 7, 1959, Doris married Glenn C. Keeton in Manning, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Randy & Marqueta Keeton of Leoti, Kansas, and Ronnie & Carolyn Keeton of Bucklin, Kansas; one daughter, Beverly & Brent Kraft of Ransom, Kansas; five granddaughters, Lana & Michael Sherrard of Ireland, April & Chris Hernandez of Leoti, Kansas, Hailey Keeton of Leoti, Kansas, Tammy & Chris Wolfley of Greensburg, Kansas, and Amanda & Jerry Brown of Joplin, Missouri; four grandsons, Joey Keeton of Tribune, Kansas, Randy W. & Leilana Keeton of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Dustin & Sandy Kraft of Kinsley, Kansas, and Wayne & Julie Keeton of Greensburg, Kansas; and twenty-six greatgrandchildren.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Donald Hutton, brother Larry Hutton, and great-grandson, Gregory Kraft.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 26, 2021, from 3 until 8 and Tuesday, April 27, 2021, from 10:00 to 8:00 at Price and Son’s funeral home in Leoti, Kansas. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at 10:30 at the United Methodist Church in Leoti, Kansas, with pastor Heureuse Kaj presiding.
Burial will be at the Leoti cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Lydia United Methodist Church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Homes.
