On April 11th , the Hi-Plains held a Pre-League meet at Syracuse. At that meet, the women placed 3rd with 84 points, the men 5th at 59 points. Fast forward to May 13 th , and the league results proved in favor of the Indians. The women totaled 89 points to claim league runner-up to Lakin’s 157. The men placed 3rd with 68 points behind Lakin (237) and Stanton County (85).
