John Henry LeSuer homesteaded near Leoti, Kansas, when the town was being settled. John opened a buggy and harness shop on south Main Street. He was also a photographer.
John documented many of the early events of Wichita County with his camera. His granddaughter, Florence Birdsong (Vicki’s Aunt), donated his photographs to the new Museum of the Great Plains in 1982.
