Janis Archer, age 91, of Goodland passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at Goodland Regional Medical Center.
Janis was born October 21, 1933, to Clay and Adah (Hodges) Hart in Canton, Kansas, where she grew up and attended school.
On September 9, 1952, Janis married Billy Joe Archer. She enjoyed traveling, f oot b a l l , g ol f , gambling, and most of all spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Mike, of Cedar Bluff, KS; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. Janis is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; daughter, Shelley Weems; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jeff McNeely; daughterin- law, Phyllis Archer; and great-grandson, Gannon Warden.
Celebration of life will be held later with inurnment at the Leoti Cemetery.
