Soon after, Barry began a new career in the financial services industry. He worked with New York Life and later with LPL Financial, serving clients for a total of 28 years. In addition to Barry’s full-time job, Barry and Twila pursued a deeper devotion to spreading the gospel by launching and leading Cru’s Student Venture ministry at Arcadia High School from 1987-1995. Barry and Twila relocated to Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2009, with a view of Pikes Peak from their deck. Barry enjoyed peaceful mornings, always beginning with a quiet time and a cup of coffee. They both enjoyed opening their home and inviting myriad people over for fellowship.
