Above (L-R): Norman Ames and Earl Strong, Jr., both of Leoti, paused an instant Saturday, July 12, in the Ames field of wheat on the Lula Cibulski irrigated land just north of Leoti. This field is part of the 155 acres of irrigated wheat planted the last of September. Part of the field had only one irrigation during the past year. Ames, one of the progressive farmers in this district has other wheat elsewhere for a total of 400 acres. Below: Willis Crowley, running a Massey-Ferguson combine.

City Police Court— July 11-George Taylor, 21, of Oklahoma, appeared before Police Judge W.J. Yotter, and pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated. The defendant paid a fine of $10, plus $5 cost.
