Jentri Porter made history as the first girl at WCHS to win a state championship in wrestling, along with being the first girl in school history to go undefeated for the season. Wichita County’s last state champion wrestler was in 1998.
Jentri wanted to be a wrestler because she had grown up watching her brothers, so when the opportunity of a girls’ team became a reality, she was all in.
