Amy Dawn Kessler

Amy Dawn Kessler, 53, of Hope, Kansas, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas. She was born on June 23, 1972, in Tribune, Kansas, to Hugh and Elaine Beedy.

Amy dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the health care industry. She was a member of the Mennonite Church of Scott County, Kansas, and will be remembered for her compassionate heart, faith, and devotion to her family. Amy also found great joy in simple, meaningful pursuits— sewing with friends, baking, crocheting, and reading. She had a gift for helping others, and her kindness and willingness to serve left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Jacob Frank Kessler of Leoti, KS; children Ashtyn Lammers (Cory) of Hastings, NE, Edwin Jacob Kessler of Leoti, KS, and Abrianna Kessler of Leoti, KS; and grandchildren Brooklyn and Emily Lammers of Hastings, NE. She is also survived by her father, Hugh Beedy of Halstead, KS; sister Faye Lynn (Timothy) Ferran of Hutchinson, KS; nephew Isaiah Ferran; and niece Makynze Ferran of Hutchinson, KS.

Amy was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Beedy, and her brother, Brennan Beedy.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church, 821 2nd Street, Tribune, KS. Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. (Mountain Time), followed by a church service at 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will immediately follow at Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, KS.
