Daniel Patrick Ryan

Daniel Patrick Ryan, age 38, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on February 11, 1985, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Patrick John & Barbara Jean Bishop Ryan. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was the owner and operator of Premier Plumbing in Scott City, Kansas.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas, and was a US Army Veteran with the rank of Staff Sergeant. During his service in the Global War on Terrorism, he was part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, serving in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Kuwait.

Survivors include his parents, Patrick & Barbara Ryan of Scott City, Kansas; two sisters, Jennifer & Peter Nesbitt of Riverwoods, Illinois, Suzanne & Brandon Numrich of Manhat t a n , Kansas; one niece, Mackenzie Nesbitt of Riverwoods, Illinois; and one nephew, Logan Nesbitt of Riverwoods, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2 8 , 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Chuck Kirk and Steve Payne presiding. Services were live-streamed at www. priceandsons.com.

Visitation was Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.

Interment was in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas with Military Honors provided by Kansas Army National Guard.
