Derek Wayne Longsine, age 43, passed away on Monday, November 1st, 2021, in Tribune, Kansas, following an automobile accident. He was born on June 21st, 1978, in McCook, Nebraska, the son of Dan Longsine and Peggy Savolt.
He was of Christian faith.
On February 22nd, 2012, he married Shawna Kay Plummer in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Shawna Longsine of Tribune, Kansas; five sons, Alexander Embry of Tribune, Kansas, Chase Meikle of Spokane, Washington, Jordan Meikle of Scott City, Kansas, Damion Clayton of Scott City, Kansas, & Johnny Clayton of Garden City, Kansas; one daughter, Jonica Clayton; and three sisters, Denise Longsine of McCook, Nebraska, Dannette Longsine of Minnesota, & Jasmine Longsine of Garden City, Kansas; and twelve grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
