Dr. Carl Zink

We have received word of the passing of a beloved former longtime Leoti resident, Dr. Carl Zink.

The family wishes to delay the formal obituary until closer to the time of Dr. Zink’s graveside services, which will be held at a later date.

Carl Lee Zink, 87, passed from his earthly life on August 1, 2022. He was born September 26, 1934, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of the late Orval and Mary (Bontrager) Zink.

Carl graduated from Kansas State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He served the people of Western Kansas for many years in that valuable role.

Dr. Zink is survived by his wife Mary Ellen (Herndon), five children, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a brother, OJ.
