Glen Emery Eugene Burch, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. He was born on September 16, 1944, in Selkirk, Kansas, to Arthur Lee and Bessie Irene Elder Burch. He was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the VFW. He was a truck driver for many years.
On April 3, 1965, Glen married Kelma Kay Kelley in Clayton, New Mexico. She survives.
Glen is survived by his wife; children, Kelley and Aimee Burch of Leoti, Kansas, Glenda and Mike Craven of Leoti, Kansas; grandchildren, Meghan and Philip Gould of Scott City, Kansas, Treven and Paige Burch of Leoti, Kansas, William and Kimberly Taylor of Hector, Arkansas, Weston Taylor of Leoti, Kansas; six great-grandchildren; and siblings, Wilma Martin of Ulysses, Kansas, Ellsworth Burch of Marienthal, Kansas, Betty Radloff of Ulysses, Kansas, Lester Burch of Hartshorne, Oklahoma, Phyllis Lane of Eads, Colorado, Edith Taylor of Leoti, Kansas, Alva Burch of Holcomb, Kansas, Kenneth Burch of Cimarron, Kansas, Patsy Riley of Leoti, Kansas.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to the “Leoti EMS,” “Leoti Fire Department,” or the “Wichita County Amusement Association” in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 161, Leoti, Kansas 67861.
The funeral service will be held at Trinity Fellowship Church in Leoti, Kansas, on April 7, 2025, at 10:30 am, with Pastor Tod Anthony presiding. Interment will follow at the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
Public visitation will be at the Price and Sons Funeral Home, 202 N. 4th St. Leoti, Kansas 67861, on Saturday, April 5, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and on Sunday, April 6, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
