Maida June (Logan) Hetzler, age 86, entered into glory on February 17, 2025, at Vancrest at Upper Valley in Troy, OH. She was born on December 20, 1938, in Garden City, KS, to the late Carl Baxter and Grace Eldrid (McClimans) Logan of Leoti, KS.
Maida June is survived by two children: Denile Lance Hetzler of Florence, CO, and Tracy Jill (Robert Arthur) George of Troy, OH; one sister: Orpha Kay Duell of Wichita, KS; one granddaughter: Lorien Marie (David) Elgersma of Spring Valley, OH; one grandson: Logan Robert (Brooke Young) George of Nashville, TN; one sister-in-law: Darlene Appl; and one brother-in-law: Dennis Duell. She also leaves behind several other relatives, friends, and care-givers, as well as her church family at Troy Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William Eldean “Bill D.” Hetzler. In addition to being a wife and mother, Maida June taught Sunday School and drove trucks for a grain elevator seasonally. She was a sweet and generous person who loved her Lord and wanted to tell everyone about Jesus.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Troy Baptist Church, 691 E. Staunton Road, Troy, Ohio 45373. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Troy Baptist Church.
