Leoti, Kansas—Raymond Earl Jaeger, age 77, died on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on December 27, 1942, at home during a blizzard in Wichita County, Kansas, the son of Daniel Frederick and Lena Annette Green Jaeger.
He was a lifetime member of the Leoti community and was a farmer.
Raymond is survived by his two children, Tate Jaeger and wife Deb of Olathe, Kansas; Jennifer Jaeger of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren, Hunter Jaeger, Morgan Jill Jaeger, and Brevan Martinez, all Olathe, Kansas; six siblings, Bill Jaeger of Stoneham, Colorado; Chuck Jaeger and wife Dee Ann of Palm Desert, California; Tim Jaeger and wife Sheryl of Wichita, Kansas; DeeAnn Wilken of Leoti, Kansas; Alberta Shafer and husband Jim of Hutchinson, Kansas; Susan Wedel and husband Frank of Leoti, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Joellyn Bishop; a sister in law, Carol Jaeger.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Leoti Cemetery.
Interment will be at the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
