Thelma (Farr) Purvis, age 64, of Sand Springs, OK, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Rogers, AR.
Thelma was born on September 3, 1960, in Altus, OK. Thelma was the daughter of the late Paul and Wanetta Farr of Leoti, KS.
Thelma enjoyed quilting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Wanetta Farr; son, Brandon Farr; brothers, Robert Farr, Clarence Farr, and Paul Wayne Farr. Thelma is survived by her husband, Ronald (Sonny) Purvis; son, Kyle Carson and his wife Sabrina of Texas; and 4 grandsons of Texas; brothers, Loyd (Betty) Farr of Nickerson, KS, Dale Farr of Scott City, KS, Kenny (Meredith) Farr of Leoti, KS; sisters, Edith Blume of Goodland, KS, Leila (Steve) Walker of Bentonville, AR.
She also leaves many family members and friends who dearly love her and who will sadly miss her.
A celebration of Thelma’s life will be held at a later date in Scott City, KS.
