Alma Louise Campas, 94, passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2023, at Wichita County Long Term Care in Leoti, KS. Alma was born on November 2nd, 1928, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Garden City, Kansas, to Herman and Olga Kuhlman. She lived all of her years in Western Kansas, growing up just south of the Wichita-Kearny County line, spending her younger years in the Lydia area, and her high school years and the rest of her days in Leoti, KS.

Ken Maynard Barr, of Denver, Colorado died on the morning of September 26, 2023, at the age of 93. He was born June 4, 1930, in Larned, Kansas to Herbert and Eula Barr.

Leoti—Richard “Dick” Romig Sheets, 99, of Leoti, Kansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 28, 2023. He was born on March 11, 1924, in Topeka, Kansas, to Edvin and Hazel Sheets.

Leot i — JoAnn Neubauer ( K ren zel ) pas sed away peacefully on Friday, September 15th, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas. She was 80 years old.

Ross Eugene Lane, age 90 of Baldwin City, KS passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2023 with his family by his side. The visitation and funeral mass will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 740 North 6th Street, Baldwin City, KS.

Roy McClellan Summers passed peacefully into the arms of his heavenly family on August 4, 2023, in Advance, North Carolina, at the age of 91. He was born on March 26, 1932, in Leoti, Kansas, the first of nine children, to Alice Ruth Elder Summers and Henry David Summers.

Tribune—Leroy Harold Mai, age 87, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. He was born to Emanuel and Madeline Bohl Mai in Greeley County on February 18, 1936. He was a lifelong member of the community.

Former Leoti, KS, resident G. Earlene Cathcart, 74, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, NE.

Longtime Wallace, KS, resident William Leslie Bogenhagen, 76, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the St. Catharine Hospital in Garden City, KS.

Connie Leigh MacDonnell, age 67, passed away in her home, her son & his wife, her granddaughter Alexis, her best friend Jayne, and her beloved dog Biscuit by her side on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 27, 1955, in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Keith and Betty McCarty. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1976 moving from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
