FORT WORTH, TX – Linda Gonzales, 66, of Fort Worth, TX passed away on December 20, 2021. She was born in Atwood, KS, on December 27, 1954. She was married to Richard Gonzales of Leoti, KS. He passed away on January 7, 2015. She has one surviving sister, Ninta Martinez, of San Angelo, TX.

Maurice Dean Jeffries, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on January 19, 1935, in Modoc, Kansas, the son of Forrest Franklin and Mabel Leoti Shearmire Jeffries.

Glenn Edward Calhoun of Nixa, Missouri, died Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri, at age 84. He was born November 24, 1937, in Forgan, Oklahoma, to Horace Paul Calhoun and Mamie Cyral (Henninger) Calhoun. Glenn was a farmer most of his life.

Carol Sue Cary, 84, died Sunday November 21, 2021, at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. She was born in 1937 in Childress, Texas, the daughter of Ode and Ellen Jean (Thigpen) McAbee. Carol attended high school and junior college in Clarendon Texas.

Leoti, Kansas—Kenneth Ray Bishop, 98, passed away on November 13, 2021, at the Wichita County Hospital. He was born on February 19, 1923, in Leoti, the son of Elvin and Inez Henry Bishop. Kenneth was a lifetime member of the Leoti community.
