Mary Kathleen (Kathy) Lane, 89 of Baldwin City, KS passed away peacefully on April 9th, 2024, with her family by her side. The visitation and funeral mass will be said Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 740 North 6th Street, Baldwin City, KS.

Stan Sowers was born October 16, 1944, in Scott City, Kansas, to Ellis and Nellie Sowers. He died in Sacramento, California, February 4, 2024.

Mary Helen Biermann Bergh, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on March 28th. Mary’s life was one of love, service, and passion for her family, friends and community.

Leoti—Roy Janas Torres, age 70, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Adventhealth Porter Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He was born on August 28, 1953, in Texas, to Lionicio and Mary Janas Torres. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Leoti, Kansas, and a lifelong resident of the community.

Dwight Mollenkamp, 70, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024, surrounded by family. Dwight was born on June 29, 1953, in Ransom, Kansas.

Rodney Lee Gruver, 67, Topeka, died on Feb. 3, 2024.

Lois Ilene Phillis, 95, of South Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Wesley Towers in Hutchinson, Kansas. One of fourteen children, Lois was born on October 19, 1928, in Leoti, Kansas, the daughter of Ernst and Eva (Campbell) Minor.

Annette Marie Rodecap, 69, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024. She was born December 9, 1954, in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Jerome and Donna (Miller) Ridder.

Daniel Patrick Ryan, age 38, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on February 11, 1985, in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Patrick John & Barbara Jean Bishop Ryan. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, he was the owner and operator of Premier Plumbing in Scott City, Kansas.
