Pastor’s Corner: Gather Together

I t ’ s the season of pumpkin and cinnamon and crisp autumn leaves and turkey and stuffing and pecan pie. But, even more importantly, it is the season of family and friends. It’s the time of year when we gather together and reminisce on the past and look forward to the future.

A few weeks ago, I had the “rare” privilege of being inconvenienced. This thing snuck into our lives quite unexpectedly and visited daily. For about a week. Just as I grew to tire of it, the Lord revealed a hard truth to me, and I fell flat on my face in repentance and shame.
