Celebration of Life Scheduled

There will be a celebration of life ceremony for Lyle “Ray” Grusing on April 11, 2026. Graveside military honors will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Lydia Methodist Cemetery (Wichita/ Kearny County Line).

Extra ExtraCurricular Activities

Spring sports kicked off last week with the Wichita County junior high track meet in Stanton County. On Thursday, April 9th, the junior high track team will also participate in a High Plains League preseason meet in Lakin.

Support Our School: Donkey Basketball Night!

The Sophomore class at WCHS is putting on a fundraiser for prom funds. There will be students and members of the community riding donkeys while playing basketball.
