We have received word of the passing of a beloved former longtime Leoti resident, Dr. Carl Zink. The family wishes to delay the formal obituary until closer to the time of Dr. Zink’s graveside services, which will be held at a later date.

LEOTI, KS – Ken died on May 11, 2022, at the age of 81½ years. Born October 22, 1940, in Scott City, KS, to Clifford Leslie Schwindt and Lillie May Smith, he loved flying, telling jokes (and he remembered EVERY joke he ever heard!

Norman V. Ridder

Norman Victor Ridder passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022. He was born on December 22, 1932, at the farm home of Joseph and Johanna (Kerschen) Ridder. He was one of five children. Norman attended Elementary School in Marienthal, Kansas, and then helped his dad and brothers on the farm.

Colorado Springs, Colorado—Faye Krenzel, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Faye was born December 21, 1937, in Wichita County, Kansas, to Louie and Eva Baum. Faye married her high school sweetheart, Dwight Krenzel, on January 30, 1958.

Landon Lane Koehn, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Wichita County, Kansas. He was born on January 27, 1979, in Tribune, Kansas, the son of Mervin Ray & Patsy Sue Wedel Koehn. A lifetime resident of Wichita County, Kansas, he was a farmer.
