Council Agrees to Submit Grant for ADA Playground Equipment

City of Leoti Governing Body met in regular session Monday, February 17, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the City Hall Meeting Room. Mayor Chris Kreutzer called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

Phase two of the freight technology upgrades along U.S. 83 underway

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has begun phase two of the U.S. 83 Advanced Technology Project, which will install advanced highway technology along U.S. 83 from Rexford to Liberal.

The Kansas Department of Transportation has begun phase one of a multi-phase project starting 2.5 miles north of the Haskell/Finney county line and extending 12.7 miles north to the bridge over the Arkansas River.This project will reconstruct and realign U.S.

Meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. and are available to all. Guests of any age welcome. Meals for those 60 years of age or older are $3.50 and under 60 are $7.50. Lunches need to be ordered one day in advance. Delivery is available for home bound residents.
