TOPEKA — Wildfires are burning thousands of acres in southwest Kansas, and emergency management personnel from across the state are working to gain control and keep communities safe.

Meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. and are available to all. Guests of any age welcome. Meals for those 60 years of age or older are $3.50 and under 60 are $7.50. Lunches need to be ordered one day in advance. Delivery is available for home bound residents.

The USD 467 Board of Education adopted the 2026-27 calendar at their April 13th meeting. Next year’s calendar has teachers returning on August 10th for two days of in-service and they will have a work day on August 12th.
