The Lady Indians traveled to Ellinwood on Monday October 20th for their regional quad. They faced off against Stanton Co first, where they lost by 2 points in the third set. They then lost to Ellinwood in two and beat Hutch Trinity in three.

President Faith Marcy called the February meeting of the Lydia Jayhawkers to order, Sunday, F ebruar y 8. We started by celebrating February birthdays: Evan Oldham and Reid Marcy. Maverick Porter led the flag salute and Forrest McKinney led the 4-H pledge.

Porter Makes History as the 1st Lady Indians Wrestler to Win State

Jentri Porter made history as the first girl at WCHS to win a state championship in wrestling, along with being the first girl in school history to go undefeated for the season. Wichita County’s last state champion wrestler was in 1998.
