Norman Ames and Earl Strong, Jr. , both of Leot i , paused an instant Saturday, July 12, [1975] in the Ames field of wheat on the Lula Cibulski irrigated land just north of Leoti. This field is part of the 155 acres of irrigated wheat planted the last of September. Par t of the field had only one irrigation during the past year. Ames, one of the progressive farmers in this district has ot her wheat elsewhere for a total of 400 acres.

The groundhog may have seen his shadow, but Spring will be here soon. While many of us look forward to warmer days and blooming flowers, those who suffer from seasonal allergies know that the return of grass, budding trees, and blooming flowers can lead to more sneezing than smiles.
